After finishing the initial setup of my phone, It brought me into the main screen where I saw the pre-installed apps. Since I want to play a game badly, I somehow tapped the Google Games app. And what happened was, it generated a random name called "Gatling Ninja". It also includes some random numbers with a Unicorn icon. Looks like its a setup for a new Google Games account lol.
I'm with my ex that moment and I showed her the phone screen to see what she thinks. Finally, she saw it and laughed like crazy while seeing it, saying, "Ano yang Gitling na Ninja lol". Then she suddenly realized it was different and said, "Ay, Gatling Ninja pala". And... Yeah.. that's it! That name made her laugh and it caught my attention.
Since I was interested in SEO that time, I checked what the heck "Gitling" means. And yeah, Gitling is a tagalog word for Dash/Hypen, so Dash and Ninja. I nod and said quietly to myself, "Hmm... o-kay?". lol. When I googled "GitlingNinja", nothing much comes up. So using that name seems fine. It's kinda unique, and this sealed the deal using GitlingNinja.
Ahem.. Not that interesting right? lol.
Looking back, I usually don't pay attention to IGNs. What I do is to think any random names that comes to my mind when creating an account and stuff. And for sure, people that I have played games with in the past might not recognize me. So I thought it would be cool to use GitlingNinja consistently as my IGN. That way, my newly found/existing/special/lost friends/imaginary haters in game can remember me. Even if we're not playing anymore lol. For the memories, let's go!
Thinking that this scenario could happen like, "Hmm, GitlingNinja? I played with that noob before!" lol.
